Rob Maxwell is an Australian actor currently based in Melbourne. After growing up on a sheep farm in Tasmania Rob moved to mainland Australia to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at the prestigious University of Melbourne, where he landed lead roles in numerous stage productions – including Nathan Detroit in Guys’n’Dolls and Romeo in Romeo & Juliet. Rob Maxwell’s love for adventure led him to Japan for a two-year stint snowboarding and modeling, before returning to Melbourne to work on the long running Aussie drama Neighbours. In his constant search for a challenge and a keen desire to enrich his work, Rob then made the big move to New York City for conservatory training with the Atlantic Theater Company. He has recently performed in several productions in New York, including Off-off-Broadway in the world premier of In the Company of Jane Doe; and in various short films and commercials – most notably the European Music Award promotions with Heidi Klum.
